Visualize the Music

People are very visual. They are easily attracted to  and are more interested in visual information than audio or written information.  It is said that the average attention span of an adult is no more than twenty minutes. Probably one of the reasons why we see a lot of lighting and color effects on stage during concerts is to hold the attention of the audience not only in the performer but also in the music being played.  Ever wonder what that colortube 3.0 eq at guitar center is used for? It is a linear chase, static color effect and a real-time music visualizer in one which allows the audience to visualize the music being played through the different color display.
