My four-day weekend gave me a chance to rest from a stressful work week. I got up early yesterday and drove to the beach to catch the early morning sun. I always go to Deerfield Beach. I am familiar with the place, parking is easy and it's only a couple of minutes drive from home.
I enjoy walking on the beach especially early in the morning when there's not much people around and the environment is more peaceful and quiet and not "congested". Of course, I enjoy it more when I have my camera with me.
Yesterday was a particularly nice day. The sun had just risen and the cold fresh breeze was blowing.
I am always thankful for the blessings of Sabbath. I need the time to rest and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
"Good morning, starshine, the earth says hello,
You twinkle above us, we twinkle below
God morning, starshine, you lead us along
My love and me as we sing
Our early morning singing song."
"I have always loved the beach.
The smell of salty water, the wind in my face,
the gentle roar of the waves all combine to create
a sense of peace and calm."
"The waves of the seas
help me get back to me."
"My life is like a stroll on the beach.
As near the edge as I can go."
"On the beach you can live in bliss."
