We've experienced changes in the weather lately. Even here in the Sunshine State where summer is almost "year round", the last two weeks were quite chilly. This must have been the effect of frankenstorm Sandy which hit the neighboring East Coast states. This weekend, however, the sun was back in the Sunshine State and along with it, the beautiful weather that attracts a lot of snow birds from places like New York, New Jersey, Maine, Massachusetts, Canada who come to Florida to escape the cold winter months of those places and to enjoy Florida's beautiful weather.
Another perfect place to go to during the cold winter months is the beautiful paradise of Hawaii. I have lived there for more than two years and I can really vouch for the near-perfect weather of the islands. It's never too hot nor too cold over there; and the beaches are, of course, one of the world's best.
I have been blessed to have experienced living in paradise-like states in the US.: Hawaii (for two years) and Florida (for three years now). I am at my happiest when I am at the beach, either early in the morning to watch the sun rise and do some brisk walking, or watch the golden sunset (my favorite is the sunset at Pier 60 in Clearwater). If you plan on visiting these two "paradise", one of the best, if not The best, place to stay is by the beach, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. If you're staying for a longer time, like those snow birds, why not look into beach house rentals. It'll probably be cost efficient and you will have more privacy and comfort.
