We woke up to a beautiful Saturday morning. After a big breakfast at the nearby Original Pancake House, we drove to Palm Beach. While on the road, we could see the dark skies on most part of the Palm Beach County area. I was happy that Flagler Drive appeared sunny and bright when we arrived.
Coconut groves adorning the streets give it a scenic view.
One Whitehall Way is home to Henry Flagler's Gilded Age estate, Whitehall. When the mansion was completed in 1902, New York Herald proclaimed it as "more wonderful than any palace in Europe, grander and more magnificent than any private dwelling in the world." Whitehall is now known as Flagler Museum, a U.S. National Historic Landmark.

It was raining when we left Flagler Museum but the weather did not dampen our spirits. Our Fun Day has just begun :)
We had dinner at P.F. Chang's China Bistro.
Yummy starter before the main course.
A cookies and cream ice cream cake was waiting for me at home: a surprise from my Banabear.
'twas a memorable birthday celebration.

the more there is in life to celebrate.
