Easiest to Play, Hardest to Play Well

Andres Segovia, a Spanish virtuoso classical guitarist once said, "The guitar is the easiest instrument to play and the hardest to play well."  That sentiment must be shared by other guitarists who are serious about their craft and who strive to perfect it.  Take for instance Eric Clapton who said, "Every time you pick up your guitar, play as if it is your last time."

One outstanding guitarist is Jeff Pevar, a member of CPR (with David Crosby and James Raymond).  Watching him play his gibson es 339, one can really say that he's playing like it's his last time.
