My Mother's Day Weekend

I had an early Mother's Day celebration. On Saturday morning, hubby and I headed off on a two and a half hour drive to the Keys, a popular Florida vacation destination south of Miami. Florida Keys (popular destinations include Key Largo, Islamorada, Marathon, Big Pine Key and the famous Key West) is known for its balmy, tropical weather, beautiful beaches, diving sites and marine life.

Ours was just a day trip so we went only as far as Marathon.

The famous "Seven Mile" Bridge where scenes from such movies as True Lies, 2 Fast 2 Furious, License to Kill and Up Close and Personal were filmed.
