Ka 'Ikena Ho'oulu a Pauahi

"Ka 'Ikena Ho'oulu a Pauahi" ("The inspired vision of Pauahi") is a statue of Hawaiian Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop found at the enthnobotanical gardens of the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center in the heart of Waikiki.

The statue depicts the princess seated holding a book with a young girl sitting beside her. The book symbolizes the princess's spirituality, love of learning and music.

Very nice! Sepia makes the bronze feel a bit more warm and earthly.
