Who's the King of the Road?

Data gathered from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) showed that there has been an increase in motorcycle sales since 2001. Along with the increase in sales, there has also been an alarming increase in motorcycle-related accidents. The 2008 National Statistics also showed 2008 it the 11th consecutive year that there has been an increase in motorcycle crash deaths. Road conditions (potholes, debris) and driving errors such as driving too close to others, swerving in and out of traffic and lack of protection (not wearing of helmet) are the main causes of motorcycle accidents.

In a survey conducted by the NHTSA in California, it showed that motorcycle-related deaths were growing on an average of 10% every year between 1997 and 2008, but declined between January and June 2009. They attributed this in the safety training campaign of the California government. California has also one of the strictest helmet laws in the U.S.

Getting involved in a road accident is such a hassle. You need to have good insurance coverage and legal representation. If you are in the San Francisco area and are involved in a motorcyle accident, this is the time when you need a good pleasanton motorcycle accident attorney.
