Let Go and Let God

While visiting my cousins in Central Florida, I had counselling with their church pastor and his wife. I learned a lot of valuable lessons. One of which is to let go and let God take over.

As Christians, we pray and trust in the Lord, but sometimes, we are too impatient and try to direct the course of our lives, instead of letting God do it for us.

Today, I have resolved to recommit myself to God, to let go and let Him take control of my life. He knows what is best for me.

As children bring their broken toys,
with tears for us to mend,
I brought my broken dreams to God,
because He is my friend.
But instead of leaving Him in
peace to work alone,
I hung around and tried to help,
with ways that were my own.
At last, I snatched it back again and cried,
"How can you be so slow?"
"My child" He said, "What could I do?
You never let it go."
