Victor Hugo once said, "Short as life is, we make it still shorter by the careless waste of time." I plead guilty to that. Not only am I a procrastinator, I also lack discipline when it comes to prioritizing my activities and, sometimes, end up spending my precious time doing extra-curricular activities which can be categorized simply as "waste of time". I have exams in Probate Practice this coming Thursday. After class last week, I said to myself that I will spend the weekend studying for my exams and finishing my projects for Domestic Relations so that before Thursday, I won't have to stay up 24 hours preparing for my test. Well, as I am writing this post it is almost 6 o'clock, Sunday evening, and I haven't started reading a chapter yet. I have been sleeping with my book, notes and laptop since Friday but I have been very busy this weekend playing Home Inn, Cafe World and Mafia Wars. And this morning, I discovered a new word game called Word Party. If you're a Facebook fanatic, you know what am talking about.
Now that I am feeling guilty about wasting my weekend doing unproductive tasks, I have resolved to shut off the computer until am done studying tonight.
Hasta la vista, baby!
