Amoy ng Tuyo

Filipino: Amoy
English: Smell, Scent
dried fish (tuyo, uga)
Gourmet Tuyo
The dried fish and Gourmet Tuyo that you see in the picture came all the way from Bacolod courtesy of my mother. She sent them to me while I was still in Hawaii. You can also see in the picture a bowl of vinegar mixed with chili and garlic. You can tell from the smell that my food is delicious.

From the looks of it, they look more like danggit not tuyo pero tuyo means dry so pwede na rin sigurong tawaging tuyo yun o better still daing na danggit. Most foreigners detest the pungent smell of the real tuyo. It seems good for my hypertension and they also lower my body fats and cholesterol levels. Thanks for the native post. God bless you always.
Hi, Mel!
I can't tell the difference between danggit and tuyo. Eh, dried fish kasi, so "tuyo" na tawag ko. I know this is not really good for our high blood pressure kasi nga salty, especially the Gourmet Tuyo na imported pa from Bago City, Negros Occidental. Pero, MASARAP, eh! hehe! Hay, if you've seen my post "Sailing", you can see na I really gained weight. Di na ako nag-diet. haha! Baka sa isang taon na lang. hehehe!
Hi MsRay,
Anyway take your time kung kailan mo gustong magpapayat. Enjoy your day with a beautiful smile. Thanks for your reply to my comments. God bless you always.
Pahingi! Mukhang masarap ah!
I always do cook out in the lanai para hindi mangamoy ang bahay. hehe!
@Mel: I was not able to get the $1,000 reward. Since talo ako, I have to pay $100. LOL!
magandang araw ka-litratista :)
Salamat sa pagbisita :)
