Royal Hawaiian Center

On Thursday night, banabear and I walked around Waikiki. We went to the Royal Hawaiian Center, a world-class garden-style mall. The area was once known as the King's Grove at Helumoa because it was once home to Hawaii's King Kamehameha I and also of Kamehameha's great-granddaughter, Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop.

A prominent attraction in the garden is the statue of Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop.
