Hi Ms Ray,
Sad to say the celebration of EDSA revolution is no longer seen by Filipinos as something to celebrate about nowadays. Those who followed after Marcos were no better than their predecessor. Cory was a "saint" but she was ineffective because of the bitterness in her heart. Ramos gave the Filipinos something to be proud of when we were once already knocking at the doors of being the newest Tiger economy of Asia but he too succumbed to the call of extension of his term and midnight anomalies. Erap of course was convicted of plunder and was ousted in the infamous EDSA People Power II. But PGMA is the worse of them all, even worse than Marcos himself. Her rapacious administration even had the gall to challenge everybody to prove their charges against her and her husband. If there was a conjugal dictatorship during the Marcos regime, there is now a conjugal systematic plunder of the country's wealth and patrimony never seen before in the annals of our history. She even has the gall to call upon God as her witness to her sham religiosity. What we need right now is a righteous leader who fears God and loves the country more than his own. God will show the way before 2010 who that person will be. Thanks for the patriotic post. God bless you always.
