Student Life

(Our Law 101 class- I am in the front row on the right)

It has been a busy week as I prepare for my final examination.  I only had about three hours of sleep last night  reviewing for my Final Exam in Legal Research.  I fell asleep at around 2:30 AM and woke up a little bit after 6 AM today.  I was glad Bana-bear decided to drive me to school this morning because of the foul weather so I did not have to leave the house until 8:15 AM.  When I take the bus to school on Saturday mornings, I have to leave the house before 7 AM to be able to catch the early morning bus trip to Honolulu and UH Manoa.  Taking a private car saves me a lot of time.

It was a three-hour exam but I was done after two hours.  I was out of the classroom by 11 AM, groggy (from lack of sleep) and hungry.   I was happy, though, that I am done with one subject and have only three more exams to go before my Christmas break.

Bana-bear picked me up in school after class so, again, I was saved  from another two hours of travel time.   I should be preparing for my exams in Civil Investigation (on Monday) and Law 101 (on Tuesday) but my brain needs a break.  "The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak".  So, here I am lying on the couch watching  movies with bana-bear this stormy Saturday afternoon.  We're going out at 6:30 this evening to attend a Christmas party so I'll hit the books again later tonight.

I can't wait for Friday when school is over and I can start "living" again.   I am going to miss school but I am excited about spending quality time with Bana-bear everyday until Spring semester starts in January.
