You Are What You Eat

"You are what you eat" gives us the notion that in order to be healthy and fit, we need to eat the right food. As a kid, I have been taught that healthy eating is an important key to a healthy body. At home, we seldom eat beef and pork is, definitely, a no-no. Our staple diet consisted mainly of veggies and fish and occasionally, chicken. However, I like to dine out and gorge on carb-laden goodies. I am also a meat lover and I love hot and spicy food as much as I love sweets and anything chocolaty.

A couple of months ago, I experienced a feeling of bloatedness, occasional occurrence of constipation and weight gain, which I suspected was due to the build up of toxins caused by my fondness of food rich in carbs, fats and sugar. To cleanse my system of the toxin build-up, I did colon cleanse . After I was done with the cleansing, I noticed a significant change in my body.

Medical researches indicate that a diet high in fat, carbohydrates and calories increase ones risk of colon cancer. We must, therefore, make sure that fruits and vegetables, especially fiber, are included in our diet. And look into colon cleansing, too. It will help.
