It's fifty-one days before Christmas. Time to prepare our gift list to avoid the last minute rush. But before we get to the Christmas season, we have two major celebrations to look forward to: Veterans Day on November 11 and Thanksgiving Day on November 27.
Gift-giving is fun, especially for people like me who love to shop. However, with today's financial crisis, I have to spend wisely. This does not mean, however, that I have to sacrifice quality. For these special occasions, I prefer to give something unique without spending a lot. Instead of giving greeting cards to friends and acquaintances, for a change, I'd go for unique, but inexpensive items, like those small articles or knick knacks given out by companies to customers and clients to promote their products. Budget-conscious shoppers like me can choose among a wide variety of promotional products to give on these special occasions. I can even get them customize with my name and message to give my gifts a more personal touch.
One's gift need not be super-expensive. It's the thought that counts, and, of course, one's creativity.
